Just saw the evidence that civilisation is over. Just watched the deification of greed, the negation of talent, the trashing of any kind of work ethic - whether Protestant or otherwise. The logical end-point. The terminus which tells us that X-factor, Big Brother and even Deal or No Deal were mere staging posts on the way towards the ultimate sanctification of the idea that the world owes you a living, and you will be rewarded for doing absolutely nothing.
Hnaef tells me to calm down - it may be tacky, tasteless, pointless and hideous but it's only Red or Black?
