Things you don't hear about in the New Testament

  1. Building projects (except Herod's one)
  2. Property committees
  3. Jumble sales
  4. Minor disputes over liturgy
  5. Disagreements over the style of music
  6. Pipe organs
Things you do hear about

  1. Rotas (John the Baptist's father was on one)
  2. Collections (but not for the organ fund)
  3. Extravagant use of expensive perfumes
  4. Breaking bread
  5. Loving people
  6. Major disputes over food
  7. Committees
  8. Psalms
Not sure this proves anything but I thought I'd mention it.

    1. Also a wise maxim in science, of course. Which is why invisible unicorns almost certainly do exist.

  2. Building projects: Mt 7:24-27; Luke 14:28; Probably Luke 13:4; Mt 21:33; Mt 16:18; Luke 6:48; Eph 2:22; 1Peter 2:5
    Disagreements about music: Mt 11:17
Disputes over liturgy: (okay, a major one) John 4:19-24
I admit you've stumped me over pipe organs and jumble sales (unless you count Mt 21:12)
Forgive the irresistible pedantry—I take your point, of course, Archdruid.
    'Yonder pedant who is he?'
