Let the Flame Burn Brighter

All our silly fault, of course. We saw a promo video from the Rend Collective Experiment, thought it was a good idea to rip off. Sorry. Be inspired by. Singing praises round a campfire - how authentic could you get?

Of course, we forgot that, while the Moot House's most recent incarnation is in principle totally flameproof inside and out, we timber-clad it as part of our "Log Cabin Spirituality" session in February. The last couple of weeks of mostly dry wind, the big stack of newspapers that Burton had stored up to turn into eco-friendly briquettes but had left in the Moot House porch, and a couple of gallons of petrol we thought we'd use to get things going - I suppose you'd be fair to say it was, to a degree, our own fault.

I'm just glad only two Beaker People lost their authentic folky beards. As it was, we got to the chorus of "Build your kingdom here", and set our church on fire.

  1. 'Give me oil in my lamp, keep me burning' also strikes me as a rather uncomfortable experience!

Please tell me, is that the Tardis quietly settled in Stonehenge? Or am I being very thick?

    1. You're not the only person to "see" the Tardis. But I'm not one of the others who have. I think it's just a stone in shadow.

    2. Thanks you. It's interesting how people (literally) see things differently. For instance, the people who we bought our house from 'saw' powder-blue and lilac geometric wallpaper and tan cork floor tiles as a pretty combination for the bathroom...
