Once again the monthly letters page is available in the Trim Valley Benefice. I quite like the old place. Makes the Beaker Folk look normal.
As, I expect, does the Parish Magazine of St Bartholomew's Church in Westhoughton, near Bolton, reported in the CofE Daily Digest of 30 March.
I see that my wardrobe has turned up there after all these years. Pity it was Major Dumpling, rather than Burton who made use of it. Am feeling quite nostalgic, after nearly being blown halfway to Birkenhead from the top of the Edge the other night - so if the delectable Dassett wants an Easter break, I would be happy to fire up the sleigh one more time and accompany him on a sightseeing tour.
