Fundamentalist Pick Up Line

Watching this amusing little skit on Reverend Lesley's blog reminded me of the pick-up line,as I believe it is called by the vulgar, that we all used at Hope Springs Bible College. "Get your coat, you're worth more than rubies (Prov 31:10)". Never failed. Inasmuch as I used it once and we've been married, it would seem, ever since.

  1. I thought the the classic at dances was "Are you dancing" which elicited the response "Are you Asking" if you were successful otherwise the response might be a little more vulgar.

The old favourite of "Do you come here often" seems to have worked for hundreds of years, why abandon a successful formula?
