The Morning after St Columba

There's got to be a word for the morning after a feast day. You know - in the same way that the evening before is an "Eve". I've no idea what it is. "The fragments of St Columba's Day", or some such. Around the Community there's some sore heads about the place as people struggle to bring their lives back into focus. And I have an awful memory of becoming quite agitated and unusually right-wing about something.

I tell you, I've no idea how St Columba managed to cope with all that Hebridean malt and wall-to-wall ceilidhs, and still managed to get up for Lauds all spartan, chaste and austere. What a man. No wonder he's a saint.
