Sad to hear the news that the great Jim Marshall, founder of Bletchley's Marshall Amps, has gone to join the rock-group-accompanied-for-a-concept-album-by-a-choir invisible.
Rock music shouldn't be clean, precise, sharp. We had electro music, from Kraftwerk onwards, for that. Marshall's amps made guitars a bit graunchy.
God bless, Jim. I hear that in heaven the amps go up to 11.
