ReplyDeleteUntil recently, I was totally committed to establishment (while recognising its anomalies.)
But if the price of establishment is to be obliged to conform to the "trends and priorities" of secular culture, then that is too high a price to pay. By a large margin. And regardless (as you rightly say) of how it plays out in particular votes on particular issues.
