On the subject of the King James Version, I note that its translation of John 14:2 is "In my Father's house are many mansions".
Nick Clegg is an atheist. Good news for him. If he were a believer, he'd have an expensive afterlife to look forward to, although Heaven would have a well-funded welfare state.
If Clegg is a proper atheist then he'll believe that believing in things isn't enough to make them true, all the more ironic for him because I expect he believed he was going to be an impactful part of our Government too.
ReplyDeletePS I saw that the beaker folk got a mention on the recent Ch4 documentary "Secrets of the Stonehenge skeletons", they killed off the traditions of the place and invented "bling" apparently - is this true AE? ;)
