The Three Strangers, in Thomas Hardy's tale, being - well, I'm not telling you. Spoilers, sweetie - go and read it. It's a good short story, full of local colour and a typically wistful Hardyan ending. Let's just say there's wheels within wheels.
But they would fit in quite well with Vic the Vicar's megalist of Trinitarian analogies.
