Election Sermon Bingo

Expecting a worthy sermon on Sunday?

Or maybe you're wondering what worthy sermon to preach on Sunday.

Either way, this is for you. If you're preaching, just pick any three themes from below and call them sermon points.

If you're one of the punters come Sunday, just print off this convenient bingo card and get ready. First line, column or all four corners wins a tenner!*

And of course, if you get a full house, you're probably at the Brompton Oratory.

* Not from me. Ask the pastor.

  1. I'd be hoping for Common Good and Bishops' Pastoral Letter. But there you go.

  2. I would just love to try that bingo out for real; unfortunately, on high days and Holydays, the church is crowded with eagle-eyed elderly ladies who would risk breaking a leg in their hurry to get the story to the PP. And you don't want to get on the wrong side of our PP, he has tougher characters than me for breakfast, pausing only to spit out the bones.

But [wistfully] it is a great idea....

  3. Since a THINK, PRAY, VOTE banner appeared outside ours, I've been wondering why the order of the implicit sequencing seems so disturbing. Having thought about it, I conclude that all six permutations of those words can be disturbing if thought about.
