Interesting article and the sneering just points out how out of touch she is. I don't know whether or not Dan Walker is a creationist evangelical or not, but he is entitled to believe and behave in the way that he does.
As the saying goes - as long as he doesn't expect me to agree with him, that's OK.
And Bill Turnbull, a practicing Christian, managed the role without any controversy and with style and humour - surely that's what is needed, not someone who wears their faith on their sleeve.
