ReplyDeleteThe weather is actually quite mild at the moment, no blizzards, no iced up cars, no icicles hanging from the gutters. Only then will our heating go on! Until then, I am afraid that extra layers of clothing are the order of the day. Although, I must admit that I look a little broader with three jumpers and an overcoat on.
Now, where is that snow shovel?

ReplyDeleteHow far north do you have to be to be 'the frozen north', I coming from south of the Thames, regard anything north of the Thames as the frozen North.
I had understood that anything north of Birmingham was in fact the Arctic, and you all lived in Igloo's?
I am surprised that you have Car's I thought you all got around on dog sleigh's and them zippy things with lawn mower engines.
I really must venture north one day, an expedition might be a real adventure. But wrap up warm seems to be the rule needed.
