It would have been less easy to condemn outright if he had form for campaigning against Spitting Image and the various Ben Elton outlets during Labour's wilderness years.
ReplyDeleteI think "condemn" is stronger than I intended. "Reflect on the irony", perhaps, or "worry about the future of free speech".
