Turns out the original Beaker Folk were related to the modern Spaniards. Who knew?
Peter asked me if this means the Daily Mail should send me home. I tend to think that it proves, in the deepest possible sense, that we are all German.E
Thanks for the link, Archdruid. I must say if I hadn't emigrated already I would be rather pleased if the Daily Mail had me and most of my family and friends deported to Spain. At least we could enjoy the sun. The trouble is, they would also have to deport most Daily Mail readers there, so maybe Spain wouldn't be so attractive after all.
