Secular Schism

It is with... I was going to say "regret" but that may be overdoing it.  It is with a sense of the duty to share information that I have to tell you that the Beaker Secularists are no more.  Apparently Gilbert and Rodwell disagreed over whether secularists should wear anoraks or duffel coats.   Meanwhile - much to everyone's amazement - Stanley has met a girl and therefore lost all interest in drinking cider-and-black in the Weatherspoon's in Milton Keynes while discussing Nietzsche.

  1. A bleak day, indeed. Could the Secularists reignite the fire by considering admitting Agnostics to the Guild (or at any rate MK's excellent Spoons)? Have a few in a bit more on their own terms? Good enough for the Pope - worth a try?

  2. Thanks for your comments, Bishop Alan. I don't hold out much hope for the future of Beaker Secularism. Gilbert has taken a large bottle of Tizer off with him, and is dedicating his life heneforth to making contributions to atheist forums late at night. Apparently he is trying to get himself onto the Wikio Top 10 for people who use the word "falsifiability".
