Burton's Beer Tasting Notes - Welland Truly

Dear Readers (and fellow-ale-drinkers) - Potbelly Brewery's Welland Truly is truly (ho, ho - I should stop it, really) a fine beer.

It looks like a summer golden ale. It's brewed with lager malt and German Spalt hops. I could not say it was a terribly authentic German beer. But it is slightly sweet, full of body, full of mouth-feel and taste and a reasonable alcoholic strength. This is a good beer if you want to sit in the sun and drink not too many beers. 5/6 on the Charlene Scale.
