A sharp fall in religious attendance

A sharp fall this morning, at any rate.

This was a Sunrise Service. The sunrise doesn't go back an hour.

Now I'm going to have to patch that dragon back up so we can slay it all over again later.

  1. Sunrise in Kent this morning seemed to be remarkably early. I got up at 5.am, proper time and saw daylight creeping in under the curtains.

This could have been a worship moment, but our cats, not knowing anything about clocks going back etc, were pestering for an early breakfast. Gone are the days when they would go out and bring breakfast in for us. You can't get old fashioned cats these days. Even Sooty our Jet black one has given up looking for the broomstick.

When I eventually got underway it was full daylight - but I went to worship anyway. The M2 was empty and I made it to the hive of Worship, Canterbury in good time. I am pleased to say that lots of people were there, with lusty singing, proclamation, bread and wine - all in all a lovely start to a new week and time zone.

I was wondering why, in this internet age, with all of the new technology about, your worship is not on line. I am sure that you could get subscribers and using paypal in lieu of a collection could do much for the Archdruids coffers.
