Marston was Highly Recommended. Although we had to put a bag on his head to stop him scaring the children. Mansfield Woodhouse a strong third place, and Preston Deanery did well to come in second. We thought Burton had surpassed himself with a face that combined confusion and sheer horror in equal amounts. But it turned out he had merely popped in to see what was going on. So the winner was Milton Ernest. After four days living on a hermit's diet of windfall apples and blackberries, it's going to be weeks before he loses that face.
