Apple Alarm Alert

Just a quick summary for those of you deviants that insist on using Apple technology.

The iPod and iPhone alarm clock are only having problems...

If it's just become GMT in the UK
If it's just switched to DST in the USA
If it's the 1st or 2nd of January 2011.

So far.

But - they're the only ones we know about so far. Now it's hard to prove a negative, especially when it's in the future so technically can't have been really tested (and I wouldn't get in a Jobs time machine - I'd be too scared of finding out that Apple thought it should double as an industrial sand-blaster). So I'd like to suggest you worry about the following other dates when it might not work. No promises, though:

Months with an "r" in them
Months without an "r" in them
Summer Solstice
11-11-11

11-02-2011 (in Europe)
11-02-2011 (in the States)
13-12-11 (not in the states)

Leap day in 2012
Vernal Equinox in 2012
2012
Thomas Hardy's birthday
The Queen's birthday (it might get confused with the "real" and "official" ones)
Steve Jobs's birthday
