The Ecumenical Movement

Eileen dragged me off to a "Druids together in Dunstable" meeting yesterday, and it's left me wondering.

Is the Ecumenical movement something that grows on you with time, like high blood pressure or grey hair? Or is it more like being a Pink Floyd fan, where once upon a time everybody liked it but nobody new has for 20 years?

  1. You get to see the insides of other churches and realise that the grass on the other side of the fence looks much the same.
I recommend 'inter-faith forums' much more entertaining. The last one I went to every speaker had different neck-wear. Reckon it's the mark of *True Spirituality* tm
There's a fortune to be made from that observation with a little marketing.
